Next to our constant need for funds to keep our Group running, our most pressing need is for new volunteers to help us with delivering the services we provide – whether you can spare one hour a week, an hour a day, or just fit in some time every now and again, we would very much like to hear from you!
Remember that everyone who gives of their time to help run 1st Ebbw Vale do so on a voluntary basis – absolutely no one is paid for their work, and very often, especially in the case of our Leaders, this time runs into an almost full-time basis! We are therefore always looking for new volunteers to help ease the strain and enable us to deliver more activities and events for the benefit of our members and the communities of Ebbw Vale.
It doesn’t have to be all one-way of course, becoming a volunteer keeps you active and keeps you engaged with the community, and it looks very impressive on an application if you’re looking for a job.
